Antioch Orphanage was established in 2010 in the city of Battambang and began with 10 children. Lim Phanny, a well-known church leader in the area, is director of the orphanage. Pastor Phanny is regarded in Battambang as an effective connector between local government agencies and the faith community. He is also a recognized resource in the region for children who have been neglected and traumatized and is often asked to take boys and girls into the orphanage who are in dire need. His church, Antioch Grace Brethren, is located on the same site as the orphanage.

Many children in Cambodia are at risk because of poverty and desperately need a place that is safe and loving. Sadly, the majority of the children at Antioch Orphanage have experienced abuse, have known hunger and have been exposed to abandonment and trauma in their young lives.

Today, Antioch Orphanage is home to 32 children between the ages of five and eighteen. Children are provided with a comfortable home, nutritious meals, medical care, a good education, a loving environment and sound instruction in God’s word. Children at the orphanage live in four detached family homes, each with a set of godly house parents and eight other children. Two homes are for boys and two homes are for girls.
