Our Work

Currently Cambodia Impact is working primarily in and around Battambang, a city of 250,000 in northwestern Cambodia. In addition, other ministry activities are taking place in the adjacent country of Myanmar.

Our ministry strategies create unique opportunities to share Christ and His love with the people of Cambodia and to utilize opportunities to partner with local U.S. donors.

Today, the primary focus of Cambodia Impact is in five areas of ministry:

1. Antioch Orphanage is a residential orphan care ministry in Battambang that started in 2010 with 10 children. The orphanage has been expanded and currently cares for 32 children between the ages of five and eighteen. Each child has a set of house parents and enjoys the stability of a loving, Christian home. 2. The sewing project of Svay Kang began with a modest loan for the purchase of sewing machines for a few widows. The loan was paid off ahead of schedule, more machines were purchased, and now dozens of villagers support their families by sewing products that are sold at local markets. Find out more.

3. The Living Water project drills water wells at the homes of Christian families living in rural villages. These families agree to let neighbors have free water and also agree to provide room at their homes for Bible studies. At a typical well site, 10 nearby families are provided with clean water. 4. Microloans are made available to reliable families so they can start small business enterprises. With a successful business, families live a healthier life style and the men do not abandon their wives and children in order to seek work in adjacent countries. As loans are repaid, the seed money is loaned again to other aspiring entrepreneurs. Find out more.

5. Myanmar is a very needy country, much like Cambodia was when our involvement started in Cambodia. Cambodia Impact is developing relationships with gifted church leaders in Myanmar and asking God what we should be doing to advance the Gospel in this beautiful country. Find out more.
